Why these ideas are needed?
Everyone will ask this question, “why we need to do this. Nothing is going to change. Waste of time.” But understand folks, Education also acts like democracy. Education should be used For the people, by the people and for the people
My Ideas To Avoid Air Pollution in India:
1. Ban cigarettes for 2 months. ₹5000 penalty for anyone seen smoking for 2 months.
2. Cars of all types cannot be driven with less than 3 people for 2 months.
3. Stop all constructions works in and around NCR,Chennai for 2 month.
4. Provide free dust mask and air purifier for each home. 1 per family as in head of ration card.
5. Strict ban for burning farm waste.

1. Afforestation of Aravali (For preventing further degradation of AQI in Delhi NCR)
2. Govt to collect Crop wastes and Set up a recycling plant to process them, As farmers here are not having time/money to do it so they burn them.
3. Tapping renewable sources in full-scale – Solar is the most plausible way out, next is Hydro/Wind.
4. Reducing private vehicles and increasing the usage of public vehicles – reduces traffic also.
I agree with all the points you have mentioned. Appreciate your feedback.
I believe 4th point is very vital.
Looking to these issues,
Can you think of a solution, a simple machine or anything digitally we can do to overcome this problem?. An idea that will reduce air pollution. I agree that government involvement is needed here. But I’m also thinking if there is anything we as people can do to solve this. That’s my ultimate goal. As engineers we will solve our own problems.
