Etymology of Terrorists attacks
This blog post is the result of a news appeared in today’s Hindu Newspaper, The first page of Hindu paper provided the following lines
150 IS ‘supporters’ in South India
Just wondering what drives people to such ridiculous ideologies, to answer my question I would say the ideologies that were planted by the parents were the only root cause. Parents must understand their responsibilities according to them their fathers and fore-fathers preached the religion which is very strict and provided more austerity but if they try to communicate the same to their children they must know what impact it is going to make for them. First of all parents must ask themselves a question why religion?
The answer is quite simple. Religion is just a way to discipline an individual. Discipline starts right from the moment we leave our bed in morning everything that happens in our life are bound to restrictions. But if these restrictions are not there our lives would dwindle knowledge, courage to face real world and everything. Only for this reason our ancestors paved a way as religion. I remember one bible quote saying
“FEAR OF GOD IS A BEGINNING OF WISDOM” –Proverb 9:10
This promises two things :
1. Bible is not a holy book
2. Christ never said that he’s god.
This phrase could have been anything instead of “Fear” they would have used “Belief“, “Faith“, “Trust“, or anything that would bring more vivid quality for the readers which would have made them to believe Jesus is near them. But they didn’t, because somehow the writers of the book know the reality that there is no such thing as God. Trust me I’m not an Atheist, but somehow we all want to accept this reality in life. Truth are bitter in taste but we have to taste them.
Any holy book can be taken as a sample here must satisfy the following criteria, the book must describe the aesthetic sense of the age which it was written, it must describe the habitual actions of people in those ages where the book is published and most importantly the book must be in the language of the one who people worship. Now you may know the reason why I said Bible is not a holy book.
1. Jesus spoke Aramic/Hebrew but the first new testament was published in Greek, while old testament is of no man’s use nowadays.
2. Jesus’s birth and living were from Isreal but you could possibly note that the lively hood of Isreal is strongly missing in bible. For these reason many people around the world proposed that Bible is not a holy book it is just a book that provides discipline.
This is not in the case of Koran on the other hand has more aesthetic sense if it’s origin mecca and Medina and also has their holy place of worship. The conceptual thoughts of Koran arouse distinguishing features for the readers to provoke their mind and sub-consciously intend their path to violence. It’s true but that’s not an excuse or licence to kill.
Holy books are the mixture of facts and superstioutios beliefs. Take Hinduism lord Iyappan’s birth story, he’s born to lord Vishnu (as mogini avatar) and lord Shiva . precisely what happens in a homosexual phenomenon two males giving birth to a child. I cannot mention this mythological story semi fiction and jump into conclusion to say that Hinduism supports gay. Isn’t it wierd?
Every religion followers must ask this question to themselves, “how good my religion has influenced to be good?”. I’m very sure they will not find a suitable answer for this. Follow ideologies and maintain a limit, if exceeds everything becomes poison.
Long back this poison is referred politically as facism, later as ISIS. Fear of position, fear of power and fear of people supporting is the main cause for the raise of isis to be so bad like this. There is nothing wrong in being a terrorist, but fight for something that has a purpose, meaning. I would like to be a terrorist for developing my country. Good attitude. I would like to a terroris so that I can make this country mine. Bad attitude. Earth is not for few people earth is for everyone.
